[aerogear-dev] site generation issues

qmx
Administrator
Howdy

I just found out that cloudbees' asciidoc version is ancient at best (2009-ish) and because of this the site generation fails. Openshift has no asciidoc installed, so at least for now we won't be able to have this generation in place =/

I'm looking for ways on how to automate/script the site generation, but at least for now I'll stick to the manual process. (run ./build)

"Works on my machine" won this battle :(

As long as you have python installed, you can download and run asciidoc binaries pretty easily - https://github.com/jboss-jdf/jdf-site/blob/master/setup.sh#L78

Nice! Now I know where I'll get "inspiration" when I get back to this after the first iteration :)

Thanks!

Can you share your recipe for success? I never got it to build properly on OpenShift (I think I ran out of resources).
